Class Structure - Fall 2002

I. Grading:

1. Lab Notebook - 100%

II. Homework:

Homework problems are due on the date indicated in the syllabus. Late assignments will receive 50% credit. You are encouraged to work together in a team effort on the homework. Take care that your understanding of the homework is thorough! Our goal is to build competency in Quantum Mechanics!! This class deals with many quite abstract concepts. Some of them are difficult to understand on first reading. Our work in class on the problems is to obtain a good over view of this field. As the class progresses, all of you will begin to feel more comfortable with these “far out” thoughts and new and different ways of thinking about Physics
